Job Details: Role: Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing key machinery and equipment within a fast-paced bakery production environment. Your role will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will work as part of a dedicated engineering team, specialising in electrical maintenance and fault-finding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on a range of bakery machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and systems.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure production schedules are met.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong electrical background (City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and other electrical systems.
- Excellent fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
